Previous to this meeting Lorraine Wood went through the By Laws with an eye to making them more user friendly. She organized them in a more intuitive manner and made the layout easier to follow. The only material change to the document was to make the ramifications of unexcused absences more clear as the current language is open to multiple interpretations. The new language is consistent with the intent of the Council when the amendment was originally made.
This revised document was e-mailed to the Council previous to this teleconference for study by all interested parties. After short discussion, the Committee voted to accept the revised document and present it to the full Council at the next regularly scheduled quarterly meeting for discussion and a vote.
