NEW WEBSITE IS STEAK FOR STARVING FILMMAKERS

(Savannah, GA) SouthernFilmProductions.com launches with the goal to be the complete resource of opportunities and information in the southern film and television market. The website, www.SouthernFilmProductions.com, which officially launced in February 2012, is the brain-child of actors/producers Chip Lane and Angelique Chase. Their mission was to create a site where actors and crew from North Carolina to Florida could find paying jobs and direct contacts to submit their resumes. “The concept came to me in a flood of ideas that filled our dry erase board,” says Lane. “There are over a hundred sites that post castings in the southern region. “We pull the legitimate paying jobs, find the direct contact information and post them for our members,” continued Chase. Productions companies and film offices post jobs through SFP’s “submissions” link for free.

They have already added several new services since February, including free downloadable oganizational tools, a list of agencies throughout the region, classes and
workshops, and most recently, the Cast and Crew Directory where actors and crew upload their information for free. The site’s motto is “Its as easy as Click & Submit.” Please contact Angelique Chase at 912-682-5230 for more information or
