For many aspiring filmmakers, finding a place to exhibit your work is the hardest part of the whole filmmaking process. That´s why the Sarasota Film Society proudly presents another year of the Filmmakers´ Forum. Now filmmakers and film enthusiasts can come together and share their love of the film arts. Each month, a selected panel of artists assembles in Burns Court Cinema to show and discuss their projects. Filmmakers´ Forum presents a perfect opportunity to network with local filmmakers and members of the community in a casual, positive environment. For more information, call Magida Diouri at (941) 364-8662. Submissions accepted for any of the following forums on VHS tape along with contact information and a brief synopsis for consideration. If accepted, the films can be screened in several formats including mini-DV or VHS.
