Cineworks Delivers HD Dailies for “Miracle Run”

Cineworks Digital Studios/Miami was asked to deliver HD dailies for Lifetime Network's made for TV film "Miracle Run". The movie aired Monday, August 9th at 9:00pm, and starred Marie-Louise Parker and Aidan Quinn. High Definition dailies are being requested more and more by feature filmmakers as well as network and cable providers to satisfy the ever increasing need for HD programming. The HD dailies market has eluded Florida until now.

Cineworks faced a number of challenges in delivering overnight dailies to the New Orleans location where the movie was being lensed by Gordon Lonsdale. The film was being shot three perf, a cost consideration, and in addition to standard definition editorial requirements, Lifetime requested HD dailies for a future HD telecasts and a Digital Intermediate for foreign film release. All the requests were handled flawlessly by Cineworks. The HD requirement was a first for Cineworks and the Florida market. The film has a special look because of the film transfer given to it by Cineworks. The film completed shooting at the end of June, and here it was, being shown on the 9th of August, that was a miracle run of its own.
