Audition Science Seminar Comes to Burt's Museum March 6th

Called The Audition Science Seminar, this informative series of workshops will be conducted over the span of three consecutive evenings, March 6th through the 8th. Times for each workshop are 7pm to 10 pm.

The Audition Science Seminar is divided into two parts. The first night is essentially an informal talk on the "Do's" of auditioning.

The cost of The Audition Science Seminar is $100.00 ($75.00 for union members with a valid card). Actors may take just the first night of the seminar for only $50.00.

Kenneth Kay - Bio
Kenneth Kay currently serves as the Producing Artistic Director of the Blowing Rock Stage Company, the only professional theatre company in the High Country. Prior to this position, Mr. Kay was an Associate Director and Director of Outreach Programs for the Caldwell Theatre Company in Boca Raton, Florida. Previously, he served as the Associate Artistic Director and Director of Apprentices with Flat Rock Playhouse, NC and from 1993-95 he was the Artistic Director of the Burt Reynolds Institutefor Theatre Training.

Mr. Kay has been an active member of Actors' Equity Association and the Screen Actors' Guild over twenty years. During that time he has directed and/or acted in nearly 200 professional productions throughout the southeast and on national tour. Film work includes numerous commercials, TV and film roles. He is also the recipient of four Carbonell Awards for Directing (South Florida's version of the Tony). Mr. Kay resides in Blowing Rock with his wife, the lovely and talented Kim Cozort.
