Fashion designers from around the world invite the public to enjoy a week of high fashion excitement similar to that of Milan, Paris, London and New York. Palm Beach Talent & Events has secured both local and international production teams and designer endorsements to showcase fashion from Emilio Pucci, Luca Luca, Anne Klein, Emanuel Ungaro, Eres, Chloe and more.
Spectators can expect a full week of glamour, fun and excitement during a series of runway and informal fashion shows as well as Worth Avenue's in-store trunk shows with benefit shopping. Other venues include The International Polo Club of Wellington and the Sailfish Club of Florida. Palm Beach County Film Commissioner, Chuck Elderd states, "We are thrilled to partner with Palm Beach Talent & Events to showcase Palm Beach County's diverse locations and experienced local talent."
The fashion connection within Palm Beach has long been established with Worth Avenue fashion house stores achieving the highest sales targets worldwide. Worth Avenue store owners and managers attend the New York and international fashion shows in the summer months to buy their new season lines. Susan Early, Store Manager for Emilio Pucci on Worth Avenue had this to say, "We are looking forward to being a part of this unique opportunity, the first annual Palm Beach Fashion Week. We feel this will provide the perfect platform to present our pre-collection spring/summer 2005."
