Project Spring Break - A Project Based Learning Workshop

WEEK OF MARCH 21-25, 2005

Want to be a part of a real production team? Do you have what it takes to make a film in 5 days. We'll guide you through the process from conceptual development to shooting script to screen.

You'll be introduced to screenwriting, production design, storyboards, pre-production and casting, lighting and grip, digital cinematography, direction, sound design, production, editing and post graphics. Learn to work like a traditional film crew. Cast and Crew will receive a finished DVD of the project, plus a screening at the Downtown Media Arts Center screening room during the Youth in Film Festival and Awards this summer. Project assignment may include a series of PSA's, a music video or a short dramatic film.

Get ready to burn some brain cells as you tackle a full production with cast and crew, while learning to do what it takes

Registration Fee: $325 DMAC members/$375 nonmembers

Registration deadline: Saturday, March 19th.
Fees are due Monday, March 21st at the start of the workshop.

Schedule: 8:00AM - 6:00PM. (subject to production schedule)
