What if you could pass on destiny to your offspring? What if that destiny was to die?
For Adam Smith there is no question that he will die like the rest of his family has, in a humiliating and unbelievable circumstance. For the Smiths there is no such thing as a "chance occurrence," everything has been scripted so that each lifetime is a comedy of errors, and the final act always ends the same way.
HEREDITARY MISFORTUNE won the Jury Award for Best Short Film at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, as well as being a Finalist at the USA Film Festival, and Official Selections at Wine Country Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival, Blue Sky International Film Festival, Cinema Paradise, New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, ValleyFest, Brouhaha, Tambay, and DaVinci Film and Video Festivals.
