FFPC GENERAL MEETING TO DISCUSS PROPOSED LEGISLATION

The purpose of this meeting is to bring to the forefront the importance of the proposed Entertainment Industry Economic Development Act and what action we can take as an industry to support this legislation.

Representative Steve Precourt filed the proposed legislation, HB697, last week on behalf of the Film, TV, and Digital Media Industry. Senator Mike Haridopolos is sponsoring the Sister Bill on the Senate side. The Legislative Session begins March 3, 2010. Representative Ambler is also a sponsor of the HB697.
