PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY WRAPS ON SOUTH FLORIDA IRAQ WAR DRAMA

The movie chronicles the return of a young Florida National Guard (FNG) soldier to his small poor rural farming community with sever PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and physical wounds received in combat. With no local VA support to help, he struggles with his mental and physical wounds, while his wife, Molly, works in a local farm equepment supply store. Bobby is not capable of holding down a job and becomes addicted to pain pills. Molly tries to secure help for her husband, while working and raising the children on her own. Bobby continues to get worse with continuous bouts of war flashbacks and a growing addiction that has the family going into debt.
LA based actor Rick Crawford plays Sergeant Bobby Hatcher, actress Gia Franzia as wife Molly Hatcher and Tate Ammons as Congressional Candidate Wesley Van Hoeven. Also headlining are Straightaway Movies veterans Greg Schroeder as Congressman Edward Sutil, Jeanne Holland Griffith who will Executive Produce and plays mother-in-law Joy Hatcher, and Fort Myers based Rick Michaels (Latitude 25 Pictures) who also co-produces and plas the role of Sheriff Tom Moffat.A summer 2008 South Florida premier is planned, along with several national film festivals, including The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, The Florida Film Festival in Orlando, and Sundance.
