3rd ANNUAL DELRAY BEACH FILM FESTIVAL AWARDS AND HONORS

-The Sara Fuller Award for Best Young Filmmaker to Hailey Perelman for her short film, The New Year.
-A Special Award as Friends of the Festival to Fort Lauderdale filmmakers Lou Papas and Reed Kalisher for their help in producing the three promotional trailers on Comcast and the DBFF website.
-Script Writing Contest Award to Joe McGarvey of Laguna Beach, California for his original script, “The Other Woman.”
-Script-to-Reel Contest Winner to Los Angeles based filmmaker, Griffin Hood, for his interpretation and mounting of the award-winning script “The Other Woman.”
-Juried Best Short – The Violin - Inbar Gilboa, Director.
-Audience Best Short to Ft. Lauderdale filmmakers, Lou Papas and Reed Kalisher for their short film, The Split.
J-uried Best Documentary – to Amy Serrano for The Sugar Babies, a short documentary film.
-Audience Best Documentary – Hollywood Singing & Dancing, Mark McLaughlin, Director.
-Best Director – Chilean director, Claudio Dabed, for Pretendiendo (Ugly Me).
-Up and Coming Filmmakers Award - Guardian of Eden, Shayne Leighton Director, and Estefania Crespo and Valentina Crespo, Producers.
-Best Audience Award Feature Film(s) – Two-way tie between – Screw Cupid- to Delray Beach native, Sanjeev Sirpal, Writer/Director and The Fly Boys – Rocco DeVilliers, Director.
-Best Feature Director’s Choice Award - Tie a Yellow Ribbon – Joy Dietrich.
-Best Judged Award Feature – Farewell Darkness, Dan Pico, Director.
-Florida Local Filmmaker Award - Best Short Film - The Green Glass, Christopher Swank, Director.
