JOSEPH GRECO’S CANVAS AIRS ON SHOWTIME

Canvas received wonderful reviews from the critics including Peter Travers of Rolling Stone Magazine who called Canvas “A Triumphant, Beautifully Acted Film,” and Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun Times who said “Canvas is a serious film about mental illness and a sentimental heartwarmer, and succeeds in both ways.”



Canvas opened successfully in select cities back in October 2007, and Universal released Canvas on DVD this past February. Canvas will begin airing on Showtime July 2nd.



Canvas won awards at film festivals across the country and in Italy at the Rome International Film festival where it won the Jury Prize in the family film category. Most recently, Roger Ebert selected Canvas for inclusion in the 10th annual Roger Ebert Film Festival in Champaign-Urbana Illinois. Canvas was filmed entirely in South Florida.
